Each mug is thrown on the wheel and once the piece is leather-hard it is trimmed and the handle (also pulled by hand NOT EXTRUDED) is attached. Care is taken to refine and smooth and then the design is applied with a silkscreen. The piece is then bisque fired and carefully glazed. It is then fired to cone 6 (2225F) and ready to use.
Each mug is handcrafted with care and intended to be used. Feel free to wash in the dishwasher and put in the microwave. Handwashing is always welcome but it's a busy life- so the take the easy way when needed! Most of all, enjoy.
